Il Centro Studi e Ricerche in Salute Internazionale e Interculturale vi invita a partecipare all'incontro che si terrà lunedì 20 maggio in cui interverrà Kasturi Sen, esperta in salute pubblica, economia politica in salute e sistemi sanitari in situazioni di conflitto.
L'incontro si terrà lunedì 20 maggio dalle 15.00 alle 16.30 presso l'Istituto d'Igiene, in via San Giacomo 12, Bologna.

Kasturi Sen is a social and political scientist with more than 15 years of experience of applied research in
public health and teaching on the political economy of health and development. She has taught at
London, Oxford and Cambridge Universities and more recently at Institute of Tropical Medicine, Antwerp,
Belgium on health systems and policy, ageing, demographic change and mixed methods in international health
research. She has undertaken research in south Asia and the Middle East on the impact of health reforms
on equity and access to health care in low and middle-income countries, and on the health effects of conflict.
